Scott Hullinger announced as CEO of Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital
US HealthVest announces Scott Hullinger, LCSW, MSHSA, CPHQ, has been selected to serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital, a new psychiatric hospital, which is on schedule to open in early 2019.
Scott has extensive experience in the inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services field having spent the last 25 years at the executive level in CEO and divisional and regional positions with responsibility overseeing as many as 15 hospitals. He has a wealth of knowledge with employee and physician recruitment and satisfaction, regulatory compliance, program development, and clinical operations for mental and substance use treatment caring for all patient populations.
A licensed clinical social worker, he most recently held the position of Regional Vice President for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) with oversight for behavioral health services within 9 hospitals and two access referral centers throughout the far west, continental and mountain divisions of HCA. Throughout his career, Scott shared his knowledge as an adjunct instructor at Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky and the University of Louisville for both undergraduate and graduate social work students.
Scott holds a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from University of Evansville, Master of Social Work degree from University of Kentucky and a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Music from Wittenberg University. Scott is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Quality and the National Association of Social Workers, serving on delegations to Brazil and Russia. In addition, Scott was a member of the American Psychological Association’s and American Association on Mental Retardation delegations to China.
